The Process

How It Works

Suno Lahore follows a carefully managed process — from application and verification to matching and attendance. Each stage is designed to protect participant privacy, establish clear expectations and support a respectful conversation.

Select Your Role

Choose how you would like to participate.

Sharer

You would like a private space to speak, reflect or express something you have been carrying.

Listener

You are prepared to give another person your full attention without judgment, interruption or unsolicited advice.

Each role has different responsibilities, but both are equally important to the experience.

Submit Your Application

Complete a private application describing:

  • The subjects you would like to discuss or hear
  • Your preferred language
  • Your communication and listening preferences
  • Personal boundaries and excluded topics
  • Your emotional comfort level
  • Gender-comfort preferences, where applicable
  • Your reasons and expectations for participating

Applications are confidential and are never shown to other participants.

Every application is reviewed by a human member of the Suno Lahore team.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or attendance.

Identity Verification

Shortlisted applicants complete a private identity and age-verification process.

Your verified identity remains known to the organizer but is not disclosed to your match. Identity documents are handled according to the Suno Lahore Privacy Policy.

Suno Lahore is private between participants — not anonymous to the organizer.

Careful Matching

Approved applicants are considered for matching based on:

  • Compatible conversation topics
  • Preferred language
  • Requested listening style
  • Emotional-intensity compatibility
  • Personal boundaries
  • Gender-comfort preferences
  • Scheduling and venue availability

Photographs, physical appearance, attraction, income and social status are not used to determine compatibility. Every proposed match is reviewed and approved by a human organizer.

Confirm Your Session

When a suitable match becomes available, you will receive a private invitation containing:

  • Proposed date and time
  • Participation fee
  • Cancellation and refund conditions
  • Arrival instructions
  • A summary of the rules
  • What to bring and what to expect

The booking is confirmed only after the approved participant accepts the invitation and completes the required payment. Venue details are shared privately within the stated period before the session.

Private Check-In

Participants arrive and check in separately. At the venue:

  • Identity is verified again
  • Personal belongings and phones are secured
  • The rules and physical cards are explained
  • Each participant receives a code name
  • Boundaries and listening preferences are confirmed
  • Participants are introduced to the Pause and Stop process

Matches do not see each other's applications, identity documents or contact information.

Select Your Privacy Options

A privacy divider prevents participants from seeing one another during the conversation.

An identity-concealing mask may also be requested for additional privacy while arriving, leaving or moving through shared areas of the venue. Masks are optional and cleaned before each use.

No participant may pressure another person to wear, remove or change a privacy option.

Participate in the Conversation

One participant speaks. The other listens. During the session:

  • No phones or smart devices are permitted
  • Recording and photography are prohibited
  • The Sharer controls what they disclose
  • The Listener follows the selected listening style
  • Unwanted advice and identifying questions are not permitted
  • Either participant may pause or end the session
  • Silence is allowed and does not need to be explained

Venue staff remain nearby to manage the experience and respond to safety concerns. They do not listen to the conversation unless intervention is requested or reasonably required for safety.

Complete Private Checkout

Participants leave the conversation separately and do not exchange personal information directly. During checkout, each person privately completes:

  • A session feedback form
  • A boundary and safety check
  • An optional contact-exchange decision

Feedback remains confidential and is used to improve participant selection, matching and future sessions.

Optional Contact Exchange

After the session, either participant may privately request an exchange of contact information through the Suno Lahore desk.

Contact information is shared only when both participants independently request it, both provide clear consent, and neither withdraws consent before the exchange is completed.

No response is treated as a refusal. If either participant declines, no information is shared. Neither person is told who declined, and refusing contact exchange does not affect feedback, eligibility or standing with Suno Lahore.

Once contact information has been exchanged, any communication outside Suno Lahore is the responsibility of the participants.

The Suno Lahore Experience

The Physical Card System

Every session uses a carefully prepared set of physical cards and sealed envelopes. The cards establish roles, communicate boundaries and give participants a clear way to control the conversation without relying on phones or applications.

SHARER or LISTENER

Role Card

Each participant receives a card confirming their role for the session.

Sharer Card

"This is your space to speak. You may begin wherever you feel comfortable, pause when needed or choose not to discuss something."

Listener Card

"Your responsibility is to remain present, follow the selected listening style and respect the Sharer's boundaries."

The Role Card prevents confusion about what each participant has agreed to do.

Your session identity

Code Name Card

Each participant receives a temporary code name, such as Mehr, Raaz or Neel. Your match knows only this code name — not your legal name, telephone number, social-media profile, workplace, address, identity documents or application responses. The organizer privately verifies your real identity.

The code name applies only to the session and should not be used to contact or identify another participant afterward.

Before the session, the Sharer selects the type of listening they would find most helpful:

Advice Only If Requested

Do not offer solutions unless I specifically ask for them.

The Listener must follow the selected style throughout the session. The Sharer may change their preference by stating it clearly.

What is outside the conversation?

Boundary Card

The Boundary Card communicates subjects or behaviours that are not permitted during the session. Examples include:

  • Do not ask identifying questions
  • Do not give advice
  • Do not provide religious guidance
  • Do not judge my relationships or personal decisions
  • Do not ask about my workplace or address
  • Do not discuss a topic I have excluded
  • Do not request contact information
  • Do not make romantic or sexual comments

Boundaries are communicated before the conversation begins so that neither participant has to guess. Ignoring a clearly stated boundary may end the session and affect future eligibility.

"I need a moment."

Pause Card

Either participant may place the Pause Card on the table at any time.

  • Stop speaking
  • Allow a period of silence
  • Do not ask for an explanation
  • Wait until the person who used the card is ready

A pause does not automatically end the session.

"I want to end this conversation."

Stop Card

Either participant may use the Stop Card at any time and for any reason.

  • The conversation ends immediately
  • No explanation is required
  • The other participant must not object or continue questioning
  • Venue staff assist both participants with separate checkout

Using the Stop Card does not automatically result in a penalty or loss of refund eligibility.

Private feedback after the session

Feedback Card

Each participant privately evaluates the experience, including:

  • I felt safe
  • I felt respected
  • My boundaries were followed
  • The listening style was followed
  • The match felt appropriate
  • I understood how to pause or stop
  • I would consider participating again
  • I need the organizer to contact me privately

The Feedback Card also provides a confidential way to report misconduct, discomfort or safety concerns. Feedback is never shown directly to the other participant.

Contact Consent Card

Each participant completes this card separately after the session. The available responses are:

YES

I independently consent to sharing my selected contact information if the other participant also consents.

NO

I do not want my contact information shared.

NOT SURE

Treat my answer as no.

Two independent yes responses are required. Silence, uncertainty or an incomplete card is treated as a refusal. This card is never completed in front of the other participant.

  • Protects personal boundaries
  • Gives both participants immediate control
  • Creates a phone-free experience
  • Establishes a consistent process for every session
  • Helps participants communicate without confrontation

The cards do not replace responsible moderation, participant screening or human judgment. They support them.

Participation Policy

The 90-Day Participation Rule

After completing a session, a participant must wait at least 90 days before attending another Suno Lahore conversation. The rule applies equally to Sharers and Listeners.

Its purpose is to:

  • Protect participant anonymity
  • Reduce accidental repeat encounters
  • Prevent dependency on the experience
  • Discourage dating or networking behaviour
  • Keep each conversation deliberate and meaningful
  • Allow access to a broader range of applicants

Additional Conditions

  • Previous pairs are not matched together again
  • Creating another account does not remove the waiting period
  • Attempts to circumvent the rule may result in suspension
  • Boundary violations or misconduct may result in a longer suspension or permanent exclusion
  • Completing 90 days does not guarantee another approval or match

Your match knows only your code name and role for the session. They do not have access to your legal name, telephone number, application responses, identity documents, social-media profile, workplace or address. The organizer verifies your identity privately, but that information is never disclosed to the other participant.

Your application is reviewed only by the Suno Lahore organizing team. It is never shown to other participants, including your match. Information shared in your application is used only to assess suitability and make a compatible match.

Code names are for use during the session only. Using information gathered during a session to identify, contact or locate another participant is a violation of the Suno Lahore Code of Conduct and may result in permanent exclusion. If you believe someone has attempted to identify you, please report it to the Suno Lahore team.
