Legal
Terms & Conditions
Open to apply. Curated to attend. By submitting an application, you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility
- —Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
- —Every participant must provide accurate and truthful registration information.
- —Identity must be verified privately by an organiser at event check-in via a valid government-issued ID.
- —No professional qualifications are required to apply as a Sharer or Listener. Listeners are ordinary adults — not therapists, psychologists, counsellors or crisis workers.
2. Application and Acceptance
Anyone aged 18 or above may apply. An application is not a booking, ticket or guarantee of acceptance. Suno Lahore may accept, decline, defer or request additional screening where reasonably necessary to protect participants and the experience.
- —Every application is reviewed by the organising team for suitability, expectations, stated boundaries and safety before a match is confirmed.
- —The organiser may decline any application without providing a reason.
- —Applicants who are not selected for one event may reapply in the future, subject to the applicable waiting period.
3. Ordinary Participants
Sharers and Listeners are ordinary selected adults. They are not acting as therapists, psychologists, counsellors, medical professionals, crisis workers or legal advisers.
- —Listeners must not diagnose, prescribe or give professional advice of any kind — during or after the session.
- —Listeners must not present themselves as mental health professionals at any point.
- —Suno Lahore is not a substitute for therapy, medical care, emergency crisis support or any professional service.
4. Purpose of Vetting
Vetting evaluates eligibility, intentions, expectations, boundaries and suitability for this specific experience. Identity verification confirms that an applicant is an eligible adult and that the identity presented belongs to them. It does not guarantee character, future conduct or complete safety.
5. The Card System
Each session is governed by a set of physical cards provided to both participants at the start. Participants must follow the role, boundary, privacy, Pause and Stop cards provided during the session. A participant may pause or end a conversation at any time without providing a reason.
- —Role Card: Establishes who is the Sharer and who is the Listener before the session begins.
- —Listening Style Card: Communicates how the Sharer would like to be heard — without explanation or negotiation.
- —Boundary Card: May be placed by either participant at any point to indicate a subject that should not be pursued. No justification is required or expected.
- —Pause Card: Signals a need for a short break. The session may resume once both participants are ready.
- —Stop Card: Ends the session immediately and without question. Either participant may use it at any time.
- —Feedback Card: Completed privately after the session and returned to the organiser only.
6. Code of Conduct
- —Suno Lahore is not a dating, matchmaking, networking or solicitation service. Any attempt to use it for these purposes will result in an immediate ban.
- —No sexual questions or comments are permitted.
- —No physical touching between participants is allowed.
- —Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants.
- —No commercial, political or religious recruitment of any kind.
- —Participants must respect Boundary Cards placed by their match. Continuing past a stated boundary is a conduct violation.
7. No Guarantee of Anonymity
Suno Lahore limits the personal information shared between matches, but complete anonymity cannot be guaranteed. A participant may recognise another person through their voice, appearance, clothing, experiences or information voluntarily disclosed during conversation.
Code names and privacy screens reduce this risk but do not eliminate it. By participating, you accept this limitation.
8. No Recording or Identifying Activity
The following are strictly prohibited at all times during a Suno Lahore event:
- —Audio recording, video recording or voice-memo capture of any kind.
- —Photography or screenshots of participants, cards or venue materials.
- —Note-taking about another participant — during or after the session.
- —Searching for, identifying or attempting to locate a match after the event.
- —Sharing another participant's story, identity or disclosed content with anyone.
- —Following, contacting or approaching a match after the session outside of the permitted mutual-consent reveal process.
9. Session Termination
Suno Lahore may pause or terminate a session at any time because of — but not limited to — the following:
- —Harassment, intimidation or threatening language.
- —Sexual behaviour or comments.
- —Discrimination on any basis.
- —Persistent unwanted advice or boundary violations.
- —Crisis concerns or disclosure of immediate risk of harm.
- —Intoxication or impairment.
- —Recording or photographing participants or materials.
- —Attempts to exchange or solicit contact information.
- —Any other conduct inconsistent with the stated purpose of Suno Lahore.
10. Emergencies
Suno Lahore is not crisis support. Listeners are ordinary people and are not equipped to assess or manage emergency situations.
Where there is a credible and immediate risk of serious harm to a participant or another person, the organiser may take proportionate action — including contacting emergency services — despite normal privacy expectations. Participant safety takes precedence.
11. Waiting Period
Each match is intended as a one-time encounter. Suno Lahore is not a recurring or ongoing relationship service. The same two participants will not be intentionally matched again.
- —Participants may reapply after the waiting period stated by Suno Lahore — currently 90 days from the date of their last session.
- —The waiting period applies to both Sharers and Listeners.
- —Reapplication does not guarantee acceptance into any future event.
12. Payments
Application fee vs participation fee
Where applicable, Suno Lahore may charge a non-refundable application processing fee at the time of submission. A separate participation fee, where charged, is collected only after an application has been accepted. Submitting a payment does not guarantee acceptance.
When payment is collected
Participation fees are collected after the organiser confirms acceptance. Payment instructions will be communicated directly by the organiser.
Refunds after rejection
If a participation fee was collected before a rejection decision is made, a full refund will be issued within a reasonable period. Application processing fees are non-refundable.
Participant cancellation
If a participant cancels their attendance more than 72 hours before the event, a partial refund may be offered at the organiser's discretion. Cancellations within 72 hours of the event are non-refundable.
Organiser cancellation
If Suno Lahore cancels an event, a full refund of the participation fee will be issued. Application processing fees remain non-refundable.
Late arrival and no-show
Participants who arrive after the session has begun, or who do not attend without prior notice, are not entitled to a refund. A no-show may affect eligibility for future events at the organiser's discretion.
Listener deposit
Listeners may be required to submit a refundable deposit to confirm their attendance. The deposit is returned in full following the completed session, provided no conduct violations occurred. The deposit is forfeited in the event of a no-show or removal for misconduct.
13. Organiser Rights
- —Organisers reserve the right to remove any participant for misconduct without refund (where applicable).
- —Serious misconduct may result in a permanent ban from all future Suno Lahore events.
- —The organiser may intervene in an immediate safety emergency, including ending a session early.
- —The organiser reserves the right to update these terms as the format evolves. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the current version.
