Privacy Policy

We collect only what is necessary. We protect everything we hold.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information required for matching and event safety:

  • Contact details: name, email, mobile number.
  • Demographic information: age, gender, Lahore area.
  • Preference data: topics, languages, listening style, emotional intensity.
  • Boundary information: topics to avoid, exclusions, scenario responses for Listeners.
  • Emergency contact name and number (for participant safety only).

We do not store images of your CNIC or any identity document.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To evaluate your suitability for the Suno Lahore experience.
  • To create manual matches based on overlapping preferences and compatibility.
  • To ensure participant safety and accountability at the venue.
  • To manage the 90-day cooldown participation rule.
  • To handle safety reports, feedback and mutual contact requests after events.

3. Data Sharing & Processors

Your match never sees your real name, contact details or application answers. Your data is accessible only to the Suno Lahore administrative team.

To operate this service, your data is processed by the following categories of infrastructure providers:

  • Hosting and platform: This application runs on a managed hosting platform. Application data is stored in a hosted database.
  • Database: Application answers, preferences and safety reports are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted in a cloud environment.
  • Email: If we communicate with you by email, an email delivery provider processes your email address to send that message.

We do not share your data with third-party advertisers, social platforms or external commercial services. Processor access is limited to what is technically necessary to deliver the service.

4. Data Retention

We retain participant data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy. The following periods apply:

  • Accepted applications: Retained for a minimum of 90 days after the participant's last session (to administer the participation cooldown), then reviewed for deletion.
  • Rejected applications: Retained for up to 12 months for safety and fraud-prevention purposes, then deleted.
  • Safety reports: Retained for as long as necessary to investigate and resolve the reported concern. Where a ban or legal matter is involved, records are kept for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Payment records: Retained for 5 years in accordance with standard financial record-keeping requirements.
  • Identity-verification status: We record that identity and age were checked, along with the verification date. This record is retained for the same period as the application to which it relates.
  • Feedback: Post-session feedback is retained for 12 months, then anonymised or deleted.

5. Participant Privacy

Your privacy relative to your match is protected through the use of code names and physical privacy screens at the venue. Your real name, contact details and application answers are never shared with your match.

Confidentiality is expected of all participants and upheld structurally by the format. However, absolute anonymity cannot be guaranteed — participants share a physical space, and human conduct cannot be entirely controlled by the organiser.

Personal details are revealed only when both participants independently provide consent through our post-event double-consent reveal system. Nothing is shared unless both parties agree separately. Neither party is informed if only one side consents.

6. Physical Cards and Your Information

Physical cards are used to communicate roles, preferences and boundaries during the experience. Participants should not write legal names, phone numbers, addresses, employers, social-media accounts or detailed personal stories on these cards.

  • Code-name cards contain no public legal identity. Your code name is assigned by the organiser and does not appear on any public record.
  • Topic cards contain broad categories only — not full personal stories. Sharers are not required to write any narrative on a card.
  • Boundary cards communicate preferences without requiring an explanation from either participant.
  • Pause and Stop cards can be used at any time, without giving a reason.
  • Feedback cards are completed privately and returned directly to the organiser — not to the other participant.
  • Conversation content is not recorded by Suno Lahore in any form.
  • Participants may take blank branded cards home as a keepsake. Cards containing session-specific information — codes, topics, boundaries — are collected at the end of the session and securely destroyed.
  • No participant may photograph another participant's cards, written notes or written materials at any point.

7. What Identity Verified Means

We check that the applicant is an eligible adult and that the identity presented belongs to them. Verification does not guarantee someone's character, behaviour or compatibility.

Our CNIC policy

We inspect identity documentation (such as a CNIC) at event check-in for verification purposes, but we do not retain a photograph or photocopy of the document. We record only that identity and age were checked, along with the verification date.

Verification is one layer of participant safety. It does not replace the application review, screening questions or the behavioural expectations described in our Terms and Conditions.

8. No Public Profiles

Participants do not appear in any public directory, social feed or searchable participant list. There are no public profiles. Participants cannot browse or contact other participants directly.

9. Security

  • Access to participant data is restricted to authorised administrative personnel only.
  • Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
  • Administrative systems require authentication to access participant records.
  • In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected participants as promptly as reasonably possible.

10. Cookies & Analytics

This website may use session cookies necessary for the application form and authentication to function. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If analytics tools are used in future, this policy will be updated to reflect that.

11. Your Rights & Deletion Requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us directly. Requests will be handled within a reasonable timeframe. Note that certain records may be retained where required for safety, fraud prevention or legal purposes even after a deletion request.

To make a privacy request, contact us via the Contact page. Please include your full name and the email address used in your application.

Last Updated: August 7, 2026. Suno Lahore is committed to protecting the privacy of our participants. This policy will be updated as the service develops.
